On December 31st, we braved the frigid cold and went to the Omaha Zoo for their “Noon Year’s Eve” celebration for kids. Grandma B, Daddy, Mommy and Zach all went for the event and we spent most of the time in the Aquarium checking out the marine habitat before the big balloon drop … which consisted of hundreds of blown up animal characters being dropped from a large net after the countdown to 12:00 Noon. Cute way to ring in the New Year with our lil guy!
Zach got right in there and grabbed some animals as they fell down from the net up on the ceiling.
As it was so cold … there weren’t as many kids this year so each child was allowed to pick up multiple animals. Check out the videos tab for footage of the “drop” taken by Daddy.
